On February 4, 2018 the Special Olympics held their annual Polar Bear Plunge and Chili Cook off down at Harbor Town to raise money for the Special Olympics. Participants raised money and entered the icy water all for a good cause. MPD Officer M. Hannah is a yearly participant and does a great job of representing the MPD. State Trustee Richard McCain, his wife and Auxiliary member Stephanie, and their son Richard Jr. were there to lend a helping hand in any way they could and were great ambassadors for the F.O.P. as we attempt to get back involved with Special Olympics. There was plenty of food and fun and it was all for a great cause. Please come out to any Special Olympics event in the future and help out in any way you can.
